Highland Adventure - Inverness departure (not for cruise ships)
You will have an experienced tour guide show you some of the amazing sites in the Highlands. Many noted sites from the Outlander TV series and book by Diana Gabaldon.
We will collect you in Inverness. You’ll go to culloden battlefield and into the virtual reality battle, then clava cairns which was the inspiration for Creag Dubh. Then off on a drive through Inverness city with photo opportunities of Inverness castle. Loch Ness then awaits as we drive by for 30 minutes on our way to Drumnadrochit.
There we go into the newly refurbished Nessie centre. After 50 minutes wander around the gift shop or visit the smallest gin distillery in the UK where you can sample free their gin.
Urquhart castle next nestled on the loch.
Then over wild land Culnakirk (Simon the Fox Fraser country) then down into Beauly. See the old Priory or shops or straight onto Robertson’s farm to see the Highland cows.
